Gigantic Brewing Summer Beer Releases – Starry Eyes, Cosmic Ascent, and The Tighten Up

As we enter the midst of summer, Gigantic Brewing has released a few new beers with the debut of Starry Eyes, Cosmic Ascent, and The Tighten Up. All three beers are available in 16.9oz bottles and on draft.

On Tuesday, July 15th, Gigantic Brewing will release Starry Eyes as part of the brewery’s First Taste Tuesday series. Already on the market are both Cosmic Ascent and The Tighten Up. We first tried The Tighten Up during the 2019 Portland Craft Beer Fest that took place over the 4th of July weekend and enjoyed this beer.

Here are details on each of the beers with descriptions provided by Gigantic Brewing…

Starry Eyes – Brut IPA
Our Brut IPA is the classiest of beverages, loaded with Hallertau Blanc, Hüll Melon and Nelson Sauvin hops leading to pronounced white wine and tropical aromas and flavors.  The balance between the fruit and the dryness result in a well-adjusted and Champagne wannabe beer that will not let you down.

Cosmic Ascent – Blackberry & Red Raspberry Saison
The amethyst skies of our youth inspired us to load this beer full of Oregon blackberries and red raspberries, taking it to a place of other-worldly decadence.  Intense juiciness with the combination of saison yeast, this is the perfect beer for a beautiful, summer day.
Available now in 16.9oz bottles and draft all along the west coast.

The Tighten Up – Citrus IPA
We love the intensity of the citrusy and juicy IPA’s we’ve been brewing, but we wanted to take it up a bit for the warmer weather.  So we added just a touch of tangerine and pineapple.  We think the interplay of hops and citrus fruit is gorgeous and delicious.
