Nebulous Taproom 3rd Anniversary with Sunriver Brewing

Beaverton’s Nebulous Taproom celebrates its 3rd Anniversary today, Wednesday, December 21 from 3:00-9:00pm. And to properly honor this milestone, there will be a Sunriver Brewing Tap Takeover with nine beers from Sunriver Brewing. This includes five IPAs that are rounded out with a barrel-aged stout, a pilsner and a few other offerings.

Here’s a preview of today’s tap list of Sunriver Brewing beers.

Sunriver Wood Series (Imperial Barrel Aged Stout) – When you get here Wednesday, run straight to the bar for this beer. Very exclusive draft release outside the Sunriver Taproom. This is the highest rated Sunriver beer. Aged 18 months in the finest small batch 12-year Kentucky bourbon barrels. The results were exceptional. The beer displays complex notes of roasted caramel, cinnamon bark, toasted vanilla, dried cherries, and aged leather. Bourbon barrel stout finishes smooth, with a warming embrace, hinting of its lengthy residence in the oak. 13.5% ABV

Sunriver Lava Lands (Export Stout) – Traditional export stout, jet black in color and featuring bold chocolate, caramel and coffee flavors. This brew is full bodied and finishes with a pleasant dry roasted bitterness. Hops: Chinook. 6.5% ABV , 40 IBU

Sunriver Valor & Swagger (Austin-Style Hazy IPA) – Dry, moderately hazy, and INTENSELY hoppy. Bold hazy featuring notes of tangerine, apricot, passionfruit, and coconut. Hops: Amarillo, Idaho 7, Mosaic Cryo, Citra Cryo, and Sabro. 6.5% ABV

Sunriver Mele Kalikimaka (West Coast Double IPA) – This award winning double IPA is loaded with layers of juicy Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Halertau Blanc hops. Tropical notes of pineapple, melon, passionfruit, white wine and mango dominate the flavor and aroma. 8.2% ABV

Sunriver Shred Head (Winter Ale) – Brewed once a year, Shred is a traditional UK style winter warmer with a NW twist. A blend of British pale, crystal and black barley creates a robust malt character. Freshly harvested Centennial hops from Crosby Hop Farm give the brew a big floral, citrus, and piney finish. 7% ABV

Sunriver Cousin Eddie’s Leisure Suit (West Coast IPA) – We present to you our celebration of Simcoe – the prototypical hop for all modern West Coast IPAs. This brew utilizes multiple forms of Simcoe (pellets, oil and Cryo hops) to create layers of berry, pine, citrus and bubble gum. Embrace the dankness. 7% ABV

Sunriver Pop Demand (Hazy IPA) – The culmination of years of experimenting with this modern interpretation of IPA, Pop has a lush, pillowy body and a complex, fruit forward hop character.  Big juicy notes of mango, melon, berries, and limeade abound in this hazy brew. 6.5% ABV

Sunriver Vicious Mosquito (West Coast IPA) – Our flagship West Coast-style IPA is brewed with the finest hand selected NW hops – delivering a resinous punch of grapefruit, pine, lemon and a hint of dankness. Well balanced and moderately bitter, this brew finishes crisp and dry. 7% ABV

Sunriver Czech Pilsner (Pilsner) – Rivermark is our interpretation of the world’s original pale lager.  Perfectly balanced, this Czech-style pilsner hits all the right spots. Bready malt flavors mingle with a spicy and floral hop character.  This beer is light on the palate and perfectly crisp. 5% ABV
