The 12 Beers of Gristmas – 2023 Holiday Ale Trail

Returning for its second year is The 12 Beers of Christmas. Kicking off on December 1st, this 16-day Holiday Ale Trail will take place across a dozen Oregon breweries.

The 12 Beers of Gristmas will take place from December 1 – 16, 2023 at breweries in Portland and McMinnville where you can grab a free passport to complete for fun prizes. This now annual holiday ale trail is an excellent way to kick start your holiday spirit and visit your favorite breweries in all of their festive finery. Each brewery has selected a seasonal offering that is full of good cheer!

Then on the final day of The 12 Beers of Gristmas, ForeLand Beer will host a wrap up celebration at its Portland outpost on Saturday, December 16 from 4:00-6:00pm. Bring your partial or completed passports and be entered into a drawing for incredible swag, gift cards and more from all 12 breweries! The most breweries you visit, the better the prizes.

“The event was originally designed by Ex Novo brewing last year and was a huge success,” wrote Sara Szymanski, owner of Threshold Brewing. “With their Portland locations at an end though, they have passed the baton off to myself and David Sanguinetti of ForeLand Beer and we are very pleased to carry on and make this an annual tradition.”
