Brewed out at its largest brewery, McMenamins Edgefield Brewery, McMenamins is set to release its new Tropic Heat Guava Habanero Coconut Sour in 16-ounce cans. This new kettle sour beer will be released at McMenamins 23rd Avenue Bottle Shop on Friday, May 18th when its doors open at 10:00am.

Here are more details about the new Tropic Heat Guava Habanero Coconut Sour provided to us from McMenamins.

Tropic Heat Guava Habanero Coconut Sour Description:
Tropic Heat is a kettle-soured ale brewed with pink guava puree, coconut and habanero peppers. The heat contribution from the peppers is very minimal and creates a pleasant background quality that lingers. This slight spiciness accentuates the fruity, full guava taste that is this beer’s foundation. Coconut was also added to pleasantly blend all of the fine flavors together.
Special Techniques: Kettle Soured
Special Ingredients: Habanero, Coconut
Fruit: Pink Guava
Malts: Superior Pilsen, Pale, Wheat, Acidulated
Hops: Meridian

McMenamins will donate 25 cents from every can sold to Oregon Brewshed Alliance, a division of Oregon Wild, to help with their efforts in protecting forest watersheds.
