Dreaming of waist-deep powder? How about some waist-deep hops? If it’s the latter, Sierra Nevada Brewing has you covered this winter with the debut of Powder Day IPA.

A perfect beer for après ski, Powder Day IPA uses piles and piles of lupulin powder to create some sense defying hop aromas and flavors! The double dry-hopping creates depth and complexity, stacking layers of fruity notes: citrus, mango, pineapple, and stone fruit. Powder Day pours a shimmery gold and is capped by snowy foam.

Powder Day IPA uses a malt bill of Munich, Two-row Pale, and Wheat. The hop bill is robust with eight hop varieties of Amarillo, Chinook, Comet, Citra, Herkules, Idaho 7, Mosaic, and Polaris. The result is a bold IPA at 7.7% ABV and 45 IBUs.

Locate Powder Day IPA by using the Sierra Nevada Beer Finder, but don’t delay as this beer will only be around through the month of March.
