Von Ebert Brewing Releases Three of Cups to Celebrate International Women’s Day
|PORTLAND, Ore. – March 8, 2021 – Von Ebert Brewing, winner of the 2021 Oregon Beer Awards’ Medium Size Brewery of the Year, will celebrate International Women’s Day by releasing Three of Cups this week.
Three of Cups is a 4.6% ABV Petite Saison brewed with orange blossoms that delivers bright citrus, spicy phenolics, and delicate floral notes. It was brewed in collaboration with the women from Imperial Yeast, a provider of high quality yeast to breweries around the country, with locations both in Philadelphia and Portland.
Although the beer will be released by Von Ebert on the 8th, it was brewed for SheBrew, a Portland-based beerfest that focuses on celebrating womxn in the craft beer, cider and mead world that was held on Sunday, March 6th. The annual event focuses on honoring equality, welcoming all ages and genders, and supporting womxn and the LGBTQ community. Proceeds from SheBrew go to the Human Rights Campaign and the Oregon Brew Crew. \
“The Three of Cups tarot card represents celebration, friendship, sisterhood, and creative collaborations,” said Maddy McCarthy, brewer at Von Ebert Brewing. “We felt this name embodied what SheBrew is all about. This collaboration with the Imperial Yeast ladies takes you to the French Riviera during la Fête de l’Oranger – the Orange Festival.”
Three of Cups will be available on draft beginning on Tuesday, March 8, at the Von Ebert Glendoveer and Pearl brewpubs.
