Block 15 November Releases

With the changing of the month to November means a few bottle releases from Corvallis’ Block 15 Restaurant & Brewery. Today, November 1st, is the release of Sticky Hands in 750ml bottles with a 6 bottle limit. Then on November 16th they host a dual bottle release for Figgy Pudding and Framboise White. Figgy Pudding will be in 750ml bottles and Framboise White will be in 375ml bottles with a limit of 4 bottles each.

Also taking place on November 16th, Les Caves will be hosting a brunch for the bottle release for both Figgy Pudding and Framboise White. They are currently taking reservations and if you make a brunch reservation, you are guaranteed your allotment of bottles. Not a bad option, eat some great food and you get to walk away with some phenomenal beers.

November 1st
Sticky Hands
Our Hop Experience Ale Project is back to the original version with small adjustments to bring you our finest yet.  This hop decrescendo begins with a blast of luscious tropical fruits, citrus and dank herb aromas, transitions to intense hop flavor and ends with a balanced bitter finish gently propped up with floor-malted barley.
$8.50/750ml.  Limit 6

November 16th
Framboise White
Belgian inspired strong wit beer fermented with our blend of wit yeast, lactobacillus, and brettanomyces. Matured ten months in Chardonnay barrels with organic golden raspberries from Denison Farms.  At blending we added more golden raspberries from this summers crop.  Our 2013 blend is more complex and tart than 2012’s.  A really nice taste of summer to get you through the winter!

Figgy Pudding 2013
Brewed with English pale & specialty malts and molasses.  Matured in freshly emptied brandy barrels, conditioned with roasted mission figs, and then gently spiced with Ceylon cinnamon and nutmeg. Complex aromas and flavors of aged brandy, figs, spice, oak and vanilla with a velvety warm finish. The ultimate holiday beer to enjoy with friends, family, and elves.

Nov. 16th Brunch at Les Caves
Les Caves will feature brunch and drink specials for the release; reservations will be available from 9:30-10:15.  Those with reservations are guaranteed full bottle allotments.  Please email your request reservations@biercaves.com Reservations normally fill up fast!

No Imagine Bottles This Year
There will not be Imagine offered this year.  Our small amount of barrels did not show the proper character to make it into our Imagine program.  We do hope to increase the number of barrels this year so that we have more options to blend from.  Hopefully, there will be an Imagine release in 2015!
