National Pigs in a Blanket Day/Competition @ The BeerMongers

April 24th is National Pigs in a Blanket Day and at 2PM we’re hosting a Pigs in a Blanket Competition. There’s no cost to enter, but contestants must follow two rules: Pigs must contain pork and be wrapped in an edible blanket. The BeerMongers will award prizes to the top three contestants.

To help wash it all down we’re tapping Russian River Blind Pig as well as Bacon Beer from Aaron Gillham, Manager of the soon to be opened Portland U Brew. There will also be specials on Pig themed bottled beers, like Avery Hog Heaven Barleywine and Valley Pigskin Pale.
