Hey Angelo, great website! I enjoyed speaking with you the other night at By the Bottle…sorry to keep you after closing. Keep up the good work!
Most Excellent website! Ok, so now do I get that free pint that you promised everybody that leaves a comment here?
I am also a huge Pirate fan. Am in charge of a funraising Auction Event which usually attracts 500-600 people.Excellent exposure for donors. Was wondering if you would be interested in donating a case of your new pirate ales to the auction. We are located in Olney MD. Anywhere around here (Rockville, MD) you can get it?? Love the names!

Iam looking for a friend working for your company his name is Chris (marty) christensen. Was wondering if you could let him know that Am just wanting to talk with him. Thanks much USNR-R BM1 LANGE
We grew up together he was my next door neighboor
Just wanted to let you know we appreciate
that you sent someone alone with your beer to the brewfest at the Green Dragon. Not enough breweries send someone to talk beer. We enjoyed hearing the stories about the brewery, your hops and your families. We learned a lot about the attention you give the process to make your beer special, and value the bigger story to the brew. Really enjoyed the Lauren IPA, best beer of the day.
Regards, Terry & Mary
Okay, why do you insist on re-playing the same songs day after day until we want to jump and the station and turn it off? Or puke? or just plain change the station which we finally decided to do…. your station was on for a month – but no mo’ bady’…..
Anyone have any information on the new Brewery Opening up at the old Big Daddy’s on Lombard in North Portland?
We will come over and check it out! Sounds fantastic…congratulations to the both of you.
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are leading a “Beer Manufacturing Industry” in Nepal. We are upgrading our system for a “Brew House” of capacity 150hl. The brew house would include “Raw Materials of code for 1 metric tonne”. Would you kindly send quotation for that raw materials.
Sincerely Your’s

I have an unopened bottle (still in original case) of the Firestone Walker XII Anniversary Ale and was wondering what you thought I could get for it now-a-days?
Shoot me back an e-mail if you get a chance.
-Gavin
@Gavin: Not sure what can “get for it.” We are from the philosophy that beer is meant to be enjoyed not sold. Granted, there is a collectors’ culture associate with craft beer much like baseball cards, comic books, and coins, but we prefer drinking it and sharing it with friends. As for determining dollar value for cellarable artisan beers, this isn’t the best site to ask this. Good luck!
Post idea, with all the new breweries in the process of opening, or that have just opened. How about a compiled rundown of all the new breweries in state/city of portland?

Hi i was wondering if there will be a 2010 brew-ha! Guide! ??? Where can i get it or could you mail me one?
Love the site! Does anyone know of a good beer tasting class in the PDX area? My husband and I are avid homebrewers, and I’m looking for an awesome Christmas gift. We know the process, but I feel like we would benefit from knowledge of WHAT we are tasting. Any suggestions?
Hello. I entered a raffle for a free vacation at the last Winter Ale Fest. I got a phone saying that I won and would be contacted again soon with the details. That was a few weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. Can anyone please tell me the name of the company that hosted the vacation raffle at the last Winter Ale Fest? It would be greatly appreciated.
excellent interview with Chris at FT. George, enjoyed it immensely and I am looking forward to stocking some of that canned goodness!!

Does the Citra Blonde brew have real grapefruit in it? I need to know as one of my medicines doesn’t allow real grapefruit. Please advise. Thank you!
The Widmer Citra Blonde does not have any fruit in it, according to their brewer. The grapefruit reference is just to describe the flavor and aroma profile. Cheers!
How do I post an event on your calendar? Thanks for your help.
Very much like your interviews and insights on the world of brewery, trying to contact Frank James if possible, can you forward address, thanks, stay thirsty

We have a new brewery in Toledo, Oregon: Twisted Snout Brewery. Owned by Doug & Dayle Rider and Stu & Becky Miller (the Millers also own the adjacent restaurant, Pig Feathers BBQ), Twisted Snout is now offering 12 fine hand-crafted ales: Twisted Snout IPA, Oops! (a hoppy Golden ale that was the result of a lucky accident), Gateway Golden, Imperial IPA, Red-Headed Step Hog (a red ale), Honey Oatmeal Porker (a porter), Chocolate Snout (a stout on nitro), Wilbur’s White Wheat (a Bavarian style hefeweizen), Honey Nectarine Wheat, Dayle Earnhog (an imperial amber), Black Forest Porter (a cherry chocolate porter), and Holy Hog (a spiced Christmas ale). 30 years of brewing experience backs up these wonderful, mature and complex ales. Combined with Pig Feathers’ excellent, award-winning barbecue (also named by Fodor’s Travel Guide the “best barbecue restaurant in the Pacific Northwest”), it is well worth a trip out to Toledo! For more information, call Stu or Becky at 541-336-1833.
