Classic Wines Auction Announces 2019 Portland Fall Winemaker Dinner Lineup

Portland, Ore (September 23, 2019) — Classic Wines Auction announces its Fall Winemaker Dinner lineup, a series benefiting five local local nonprofit organizations that support children and families. The mid-November series welcomes new restaurants, innovative winery partners from Oregon and beyond, seven female chefs, cocktails and cider, the return of brunch and more.

The Fall Winemaker Dinners pair top chefs and restaurants with notable winemakers for a unique, multi-course collaboration and pairing experience. The series includes 21 dinners spanning Tuesday, November 12 through Thursday, November 14, plus a Saturday brunch on November 16. Event tickets are limited and can be purchased here.

Held at some of Portland’s most iconic restaurants including JacquelineRingSide SteakhouseSt Jack and Aviary, each dinner venue has partnered with notable wineries like Evening Land VineyardsAlexana WineryEt FilleVincent Wine Company and many others. A popular brunch will return to Bistro Agnes with Lemelson Vineyards on Saturday.

New for this series, Classic Wines Auction welcomes Gramercy Cellars from Washington, offers an all-sparkling wine dinner with Lytle-Barnett, celebrates International Tempranillo Day with Abacela Winery and Kriselle Cellars at Enoteca Nostrana, brings cider and cocktail pairings into the fold with dinners at The Nightwood Society and Quainterelle, respectively, and branches out to Lake Oswego with a dinner at Nicoletta’s Table. Nine of the 21 dinners feature female chefs or winemakers. Recognized by Wine Spectator as one of the top ten charity wine auctions in the country, Classic Wines Auction has held a longstanding mission of supporting local charities working in the communities of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Through special seasonal events and an annual auction and gala in March, Classic Wines Auctions has raised nearly $850 million since 1982.

Proceeds raised from Winemaker Dinner ticket sales support five local nonprofit partners: Metropolitan Family ServiceNew Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children – PortlandYWCA Clark County and Unity Center for Behavioral Health.
