Tap It Tuesday: Bourbon Barrel Aged Fruit @ Cascade Brewing Barrel House
Tonight’s Tap It Tuesday live from the barrel series at 6pm is Bourbon Barrel Aged Fruit. This NW style sour red ale was aged in Bourbon barrels for 10 months before aging on fresh apricots and sour pie cherries for an additional 11 months. Some light touches from a few accent barrels, including raspberries, apples and spices, were added to bring out the full fruit experience. We could try to describe it, but it is a single barrel with multiple facets and, as such, is an individual experience – so taste and discover for yourself, and let us know what you think!. 7.5% ABV, $8 a glass, $3 a taster.
