Barleywine Social at Rookery Bar
A downtown Portland destination that is not always known for their craft beer events is hosting a Barleywine event on Saturday, March 22nd. Raven & Rose’s upstairs bar, Rookery, will be hosting a barleywine tasting on Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00pm.
Now 2 years old, Raven & Rose is better known for their dining and fine cocktail experience along with a well selected draft beer offering. Located in Portland’s historic Ladd Carriage House, the ambiance is very appealing drawing inspiration from the Irish and British countryside. Located upstairs is the Rookery, a bar that provides an exclusive hideaway for sipping cocktails inspired by the building’s exuberant history.
So if you’re a fan of barleywine this is a great opportunity to enjoy an incredible spectrum of the delicious beverage all in the beautiful setting of the Rookery.
