Yakima Fresh Hop Beer Week September 30 – October 4

The appreciation of Fresh Hop beers continues to exponentially grow as more and more craft beer drinkers are introduced to this seasonal beer in the country’s largest hop growing region of the Pacific Northwest. Our local region is host to many various fresh hop events and festivals including the largest of them all, the Yakima Fresh Hop Festival that will be celebrating its 13th celebration this year. Held in America’s largest growing region of hops with nearly 75% of our country’s hops coming from Washington State’s Yakima Valley, this event is one not to miss.

However, something new this year that will lead up to the 13th Annual Yakima Fresh Hop Festival (read more about this event here) that takes place on Saturday, October 3rd will be the inaugural Yakima Fresh Hop Beer Week. Being the first year of Fresh Hop Beer Week organizers from the Yakima event have booked multiple daily events beginning on Wednesday, September 30 and running through the weekend. During these events there will be various fresh hop beers, activities, Fresh Hop Ale Festival prizes, tickets & swag giveaways.

Wednesday Events

Steiner Hop Tour
Wednesday, September 30th 5:00 – 10:00pm
$100 per person Only 100 tickets available
Includes a multi-coursed steak dinner, specialty beers from multiple brewers, a hop field tour, a hop picking & production facility & Kiln, and transportation to and from the Prosser Ranch. Tickets can be purchased here.
