Having opened its doors just two months ago, Bend’s latest hotel, Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend is also home to zpizza Tap Room.

Located in Southwest Bend next to the Oregon State University – Cascades campus, zpizza Tap Room is a new craft beer bar and pizza shop features 18 rotating taps. Its location is a perfect spot to stop off at either traveling to or from Mount Bachelor, as it’s less than 20 miles away.

zpizza was founded in Laguna Beach, CA and chose Bend as its first Oregon location. The pizza it serves uses a dough that is made fresh each day from non-GMO wheat flour. This fire-baked crust is then finished with organic tomato sauce and a plethora of topping choices. Its pizza is available by the slice or as a whole pie in two sizes.

Beyond the pizza, it also serves ups some tasty appetizers, salads and sandwiches. zpizza offers a great Pick 3 Combo Deal for only $9.95 where you can choose from a pizza slice, salad, 1/2 sandwich along with a draft beer or fountain beverage.

When it comes to the beer being served at zpizza Tap Room, a fine selection of both local and regional beers are featured on its rotating taps. During our recent visit we enjoyed a Helles from GoodLife Brewing and a Black Raspberry Sour Reserve Ale from Deschutes Brewery. zpizza also offers up a four-beer taster tray of 5 ounces of each beer to keep you sampling all of the new beers on tap.
