2023 Corvallis Beer Week Returns August 25 – September 2
|It’s been a few years since it has been hosted, but this is the year that the Corvallis Beer Week returns in late August 2023. Nine consecutive days of craft beer will be featured throughout Corvallis, Oregon from August 25 – September 2.
Last held in 2019, this year Corvallis Beer Week is presented by Common Fields and will include events all across the college town. Here’s a preview…
FRIDAY, AUGUST 25
Pre-March Kick Off at Caves – 4:00-5:00pm
Kick off Corvallis Beer Week at Caves with 3 unique small bites paired with 3 beers chosen from our cellar. Enjoy this time with other beer enthusiasts, followed by the traditional Beer Week march around Downtown.
The pairing is available for purchase, with no reservations necessary.
Kickoff Party at Common Fields – 7:00-10:00pm
Join the fun with guest brewery Steeplejack Brewing and live music from Nick of the Dreadnaughts.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 26
Septembeerfest at Avery Park – Noon-7:00pm
Join Heart of the Valley Homebrewers among the trees of Avery Park in Corvallis, Oregon, as we celebrate the 16th annual Septembeerfest.
Admission is $25 and includes a tasting glass and 8 drink tickets, additional drink tickets are 4 for $5. For most beers, 1 tickets = 4 oz pour. Cash & credit/debit cards are accepted at the festival.
Septembeerfest is a family friendly event, everyone under the age of 21 and designated drivers are admitted free. Anyone under 21 must be accompany by a paid adult. While we love our furry friends, please leave them at home.
Heart of the Valley Homebrewers, a non-profit organization, uses the proceeds from Septembeerfest to support a number of worthy local charities and organizations. Since 2006 over $255,000 have been donated to Linn Benton Food Share, Heartland Humane Society, Heart of the Valley Homebrewers Endowment at Oregon State University supporting scholarships in Fermentation Science, and other local non-profit organizations.

OSU Fermentation Science Facility Tours at OSU – 3:00-5:00pm
Taste & Tour at Block 15 – 6:00-7:00pm
Get a guided tour of our Southtown Brewery, complete with a walkthrough of the brewing process and examples of the grains and hops used to make the beers you love. We have a couple of goodies for you to taste on the tour too (including a new limited Sticky Hands variant that isn’t available to the public yet… shhh…).
And just for registered attendees – Stick around after the tour for a $10 tasting flight special of your choice (4, 4oz beers). We’ll also have a food special that day, more details to come.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 29
6-Course Paired Beer Dinner at Caves – 6:00-8:00pm
Favorites from the past are making a resurgence alongside fresh new dishes at our next Caves Beer Dinner. Enjoy six courses of unique offerings paired with hard-to-find cellared bottles and curated draught beer selections.
