Breweries in the Gorge 2nd Annual Holiday Hangover Brew Fest

After launching this festival in January 2017, Breweries in the Gorge (B.I.G.) is back with its 2nd Annual Holiday Hangover Brew Fest.

Held at the Elks Lodge in downtown Hood River, Oregon on Saturday, January 27 2018, this festival will feature over 25 beers from many of the B.I.G. member breweries. From 1:00-8:00pm each of the 13 participating breweries will feature a variety of beers along with a few rare tappings throughout the day. There will also be local food from Apple Valley BBQ and music from DJ Magnetwork. Holiday Hangover Brew Fest will also feature two new B.I.G. member breweries with Dwinell Country Ales from Goldendale, Washington and Ferment Brewing, the forthcoming Hood River based brewery.

“Last year, while I was in the process of opening my brewery, I attended the Holiday Hangover,” stated Justin Leigh, owner, Dwinell Country Ales, in a statement. “While there, I was immediately struck but the strong sense of community among the Breweries in the Gorge. This year, I’m excited to pour beer alongside my fellow brewers.”

Admission to Holiday Hangover Brew Fest is $20.00 ($22.35 after fees) in advance or $25.00 at the door. Entry includes a collector’s glass and ten drink tickets and is only open to those 21 years of age or older.

This second year festival is a perfect time to go out and visit the Columbia Gorge as local businesses continue to deal with the massive decline in revenue from the fallout out from this past summer’s Eagle Creek Fire.
