Central Oregon Beer Week Main Events
|With ten days to celebrate the craft beer industry, this years Central Oregon Beer Week is a great chance to taste beers, ciders, food, and listen to live music. Taste and vote on specially crafted single malt and single hop (SMaSH) beers from Oregon breweries at the 2nd Annual SMaSH Fest; Check out events around Central Oregon with Deschutes Brewery, Broken Top Bottle Shop, Wild Ride Brewing, Sunriver Brewing, and more. Once again this year, participate in the Epic Brewery Challenge with a grand prize including a DrinkTanks 64 oz. Growler and one night stay at the Sunriver Resort.

Friday May 22
Deschutes Brewery The Stoic Release Party (11am – 12am Bend)
Join Deschutes Brewery and kick-off Central Oregon Beer Week the right way with the celebration and release of their Belgian-Style Quad, The Stoic. Gather to celebrate this unique, complex but light bodied, whiskey aged beer. The pub will be serving culinary specials all day, handing out complimentary samples, 22 oz. bottles available for sale, vertical flights (The Stoic, Not the Stoic, Not the Stoic 2015, and The Must Have Tripel) and more. Come enjoy the festivities or just grab a bottle to put in your cellar for next year.
Central Oregon Beer Week Kick-Off and SMaSH Fest Invitational at Hugh O’Kanes at McMenamins (1pm – 9pm Bend)
Featuring one of a kind SMaSH (Single Malt Single Hop) craft beers made just for Central Oregon Beer Week from Bend Brewing Co., Deschutes Brewery, McMenamins, North Rim Brewing, Oblivion Brewing, RiverBend Brewing, Shade Tree Brewing, Worthy Brewing, Solstice Brewing, Cascade Lakes Brewing, Wild Ride Brewing, Juniper Brewing, Three Creeks Brewing Co, and Sunriver Brewing Company. Breweries from outside Central Oregon include, Ecliptic Brewing, Salem Ale Works, and Portland Brewing. This will be the release party for the SMaSH beers and main event for Central Oregon Beer Week. Tickets are $25 which include a punch card for 4oz tasters and a commemorative glass. Additional Punch Cards will be available for purchase. Beer Geek Week only at Broken Top Bottle Shop! (6pm – 9pm Bend)
Ten days of live music and beer tastings at Broken Top Bottle Shop. Each night, breweries will offer tastings from 6pm – 8pm and bands will play from 7pm – 9 pm. All tastings and the live music will be free!

Saturday May 23
Primal Cuts/Growler Phil’s Mini Brewfest! (3pm – 8pm Bend)
$10 to get in, which includes food and tastings.
This will be an epic afternoon with tastings from Deschutes Brewery, Silver Moon, Crux Fermentation, NorthRim Brewing, Bridge 99, Wild Ride Brewing, Red Tank, Oblivion Brewing, Basecamp Brewing, Volcano Vineyards, and Shade Tree Brewing!
Three Way IPA Release Party! (5pm – 8pm Bend)
Head over to Crow’s Feet Commons and join the folks from Ft George, pFriem and possibly Georgetown. They will be featuring 3 beers inside from each brewery, some core brands and some specialty, as well as the much anticipated 3-Way IPA!

High Desert Museum – Brewing Culture Closing Event (5pm – 9pm Bend)
Join the High Desert Museum for beer tastings, food and live music by Truck Stop Gravy. This will be the closing event for Brewing Culture: The Craft of Beer exhibit (closes 5/31). The exhibit will be open during the event. The cost is $8 per adult, $5 per child or student with I.D. Beer tasting packages are $10 and include a souvenir glass and 5 tasting tickets.
