Fort George Collaborates with Brujos and Ghost Town on the 2024 edition of 3-Way IPA
|With the month of May just days away, Fort George Brewery has announced its collaborating brewery partners for the 2024 edition of its popular 3-Way IPA. And this year the Astoria brewery has brought in the brewing minds and talents from Brujos and Ghost Town.
This year’s 3-Way IPA project began this past summer after Fort George reached out to these two hot breweries, Brujos from Portland, Oregon and Ghost Town from Oakland, California. The trio of breweries began to collaborate while experimenting and test brewing various batches of IPA, all in search of discovering the best one. After countless test batches the final recipe is solidified.
Now the trio of breweries have reconvened to brew this year’s 3-Way IPA. According to Fort George, this version of 3-Way IPA will be crisp and be a flavorful culmination of all the knowledge, experience and day-drinking of three of the world’s leading IPA authorities.
To celebrate the release of the 2024 edition of 3-Way IPA, Fort George Brewery will once again host its Lupulin Ecstasy Festival in Astoria on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from Noon – 6:00pm. This IPA centric festival will feature beers from Fort George, Brujos, and Ghost Town along with the previous 3-Way IPA collaborating breweries. This list increases each year and makes for a splendid day in Astoria wander the grounds of the Flavel Mansion and Oregon Film Museum.
Lupulin Ecstasy is more than just IPAs as the festival will feature music from Ural Thomas & The Pain, baby goats, llamas in formal wear, food and giant balloon animals!
