National Brain Tumor Society Portland Craft Beer Fundraisers From July 27-August 6
|Today more than 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor. But this number does not stop, as an additional 77,000 people will be diagnosed this year alone. BREWPUBLIC’s co-founder, Angelo De Ieso is one of these individuals that has been living with a brain tumor for the past four years.
Since Angelo’s diagnosis we have been fundraising for the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) to help find a cure. The numerous craft beer oriented fundraisers all lead up to the Portland Brain Tumor Walk that will take place on Sunday August 6, 2017 at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Since July is Oregon Craft Beer Month we tend to increase our fundraising efforts this month. Our team’s fundraising goal for 2017 is $20,001. Thanks to many of you we have already surpassed this goal and want to continue to raise even more money for this great organization. It would be awesome to see us break the $25,000 mark. With your generous support this can be done!
You can also donate $25 and join Team BREWPUBLIC in the Portland Brain Tumor walk on Sunday, August 6th by clicking here. Our goal is to get 53 walkers to walk with Team BREWPUBLIC so please sign up!
Enough with this, here are the upcoming National Brain Tumor Society Fundraisers taking place over the next couple of weeks. Lets go out and drink for cause!
