Oktoberfest Returns to Chuckanut Brewery in September 2024
Fest season is approaching and one German inspired regional brewery has its Oktoberfest all lined up! Featuring a Festbier and a Märzen, Chuckanut Brewery will be all things Oktoberfest on on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at both its Burlington, Washington and Portland, Oregon locations.
Chuckanut Brewery’s Oktoberfest will begin at Noon and the brewery encourages its patrons to arrive in some fun Bavarian attire of lederhosen and dirndls. There will be plenty of activities so some prep work may be in order. Start vocalizing for the Yodeling Contest, strengthen those arm muscles for the Liter Holding Contest (it’s harder than you think), get your eye hand coordination sharpened for the Hammerschlagen Contest because Chuckanut Brewery Oktoberfest is almost here. Yes, summer is shortly coming to a close!
Chuckanut Brewery’s family style traditional Oktoberfest encourages everyone to have a good time. Entry is free for all. Besides all the contests and chicken dancing you can have fun playing Corn Hole, Giant Jenga and other garden games There will be lots to do all day and into the night. Chuckanut’s award winning German style biers will be on tap, including Festbier and Märzen, along with some food pop ups to satisfy your appetite. Don’t worry about the rain because the brewery will have a big ole tent at South Nut in Burlington and all the indoor spaces at P. Nut! And of course there will be lots of Oktoberfest music in case you want to polka!
