#PDXNOW Presents Base Camp’s Collabofest Returns For Its Second Year
|After last year’s very successful launch, #PDXNOW Presents Base Camp’s Collabofest, returns for a second year on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Expanding from last year’s 10 breweries, the 2016 edition of #PDXNOW Presents Base Camp’s Collabofest will feature 18 never before released recipes from 16 of Portland’s best craft breweries and 2 Portland cider makers.
Collabofest brings together what craft breweries are well known for, its camaraderie. It is here will craft beer lovers will get its first peak at all 18 collaborations prior to all beers and ciders being on tap from January 31 to February 29, 2016 at the breweries’ taprooms as part of the Portland is Happening Now campaign. From attending last year’s inaugural Collabofest, we can definitely say this fest is a welcome addition to the Portland beer scene.
#PDXNOW Presents Base Camp’s Collabofest will once again feature a VIP Hour from 1:00 to 2:00pm that will be followed by a General Admission session from 2:00 to 8:00pm. Here’s a breakdown of ticket costs.

VIP Tickets include: early entry at 1:00pm, Meet the Brewers, Klean Kanteen pint glass, Beer Passport Opportunity to test all collabo brews plus one extra pint to claim at Base Camp Brewing Co.

- Occidental Brewing Company and Hopworks Urban Brewery
- Laurelwood Public House & Brewery and Baerlic Brewing Co.
- Widmer Brothers Brewery and Pub and Fat Head’s Portland
- Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider and Cider Riot
For 2016, Collabofest will partner with two non-profits, the Oregon Natural Desert Association and Oregon Wild. The focus will be on sending funds and support to help protect the Oywhee Canyonlands and Oregon watersheds, keeping our lands protected and our beer clean.
