Stammtisch Celebrates 3rd Anniversary with Maifest
A bit of Germany will come to Southeast Portland on Saturday, May 6th when Stammtisch celebrates its Third Anniversary Maifest Celebration. Maifest is a German tradition that welcomes in spring while dancing around the decorated maypole.
From 11:00am until 1:30am the following day, Stammtisch will be celebrating this German tradition with several imported Maibock beers from Germany along with some hearty German inspired food dishes. Look for Maibock beers from Hofbräu, Hacker-Pschorr, Andechs, Einbecker and Ayinger.
Chef Graham Chaney is serving up a seasonal spring-inspired menu of traditional German dishes like flammkuchen and white asparagus salad. The bar will also mix up a batch of Maiwein, an aromotized German wine punch with woodruff and fresh berries served during Maifest.
Stammtisch’s 3rd Anniversary Maifest Celebration is free to enter. Food and drink prices vary and minors are allowed until 10:00pm.
