Woodstock Wine & Deli to Host Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale Vertical Tasting
Already hitting store shelves is the 2019 edition of Celebration Fresh Hop IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing. And once again, Woodstock Wine & Deli will host its annual Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale Vertical Tasting on Saturday, November 9th from 1:00-6:00pm.
First brewed in 1981, Celebration Ale is a bold IPA that uses ample amounts of Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops. Each year Woodstock Wine & Deli stashes away kegs of this annual release for its vertical tasting.
And on Saturday you can order this year’s version of Celebration alongside vintage draft pours from 2018, 2016, and 2015. You’ll be able to purchase a 6 oz. vertical sample tray of all four, as well as pints of any of the featured vintages. As usual, the entire tapping system from keg to tap will be completely disassembled and cleaned with brand new beer lines installed for a pristine pour to compare the different vintages of Celebration.
Celebration Fresh Hop IPA uses Two-row Pale and Caramelized Malts along with Cascade, Centennial and Chinook Hops. The beer sits at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.
