After an 8 Year Absence, Stone Brewing Returns with Double Bastard Ale
The legendary Double Bastard Ale has returned from Stone Brewing. This marks the first time since 2016 that this bold ale has been released, and this time it’s available in 6-pack, 12 ounce cans.
Double Bastard Ale is a bigger, bolder version of the Stone Brewing’s classic Arrogant Bastard Ale, was first brewed in 1998. It remained a brewery staple through 2016 and with each release of Double Bastard Ale, the beer reached new levels of aggressiveness. Well the time has come that Stone Brewing has added this 10.5% ABV beer as a special release for the summer.
According to the press release, “Double Bastard Ale is not to be wasted on the tentative or weak. If you have even a modicum of hesitation, DO NOT seek this beer. Instead, leave it for a worthy soul who has already matriculated to the sublime ecstasy of what those in the know refer to as ‘Liquid Arrogance.’”
Double Bastard Ale is now back nationwide, but according to the brewery, only the Worthy are invited to enjoy at their own risk!
