Ferment Brewing Debuts Earth To Beer American Pale Ale
In time for Earth Day. Ferment Brewing has released its Earth To Beer American Pale Ale, a beer that benefits an adaptive and inclusive nonprofit outfitter. Joining this Pale Ale is Ferment’s latest beers in its Top & Bottom Ferment series, El Lager Dorado and Summer IPA. Then later this month Ferment will tap a collaboration with Grasslands BBQ and Grand Fir Brewing.
Earth To Beer American Pale Ale is Ferment Brewing’s contribution to Earth To Beer, a national Earth Day beer campaign in which breweries make beer with environmentally responsible ingredients and give back to environmental nonprofits. The beer is brewed with malt from Mainstem Malt in Walla Walla and hops from Yakima Chief Hops. All ingredients were sourced from farms with Salmon-Safe certifications, a special designation for farmers and urban developers that adapt watershed-friendly and climate resilient stewardship practices. Beer proceeds benefit Adventures Without Limits, an organization that breaks down barriers to outdoor accessibility with recreational programming and adaptive equipment expertise.
Earth To Beer is available now on draft and in 16oz 4-pack cans at Ferment’s Hood River brewpub, across their distribution channels in Oregon and Washington.
Every quarter Ferment releases a top fermenting ale and bottom fermenting lager side by side in 16oz 4-pack cans as part of their Top & Bottom Ferment series. The latest in the series include El Lager Dorado, an easy-drinking lager brewed with maize and wild agave syrup, and Summer IPA, an unfiltered gold-color ale with big citrus and mango hop character.
Then later this month, a new beer collaboration will make its debut to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary Hootenanny of Grasslands Barbecue in Hood River. The team from Ferment Brewing and Grasslands traveled to Portland to brew a collaboration beer at Grand Fir Brewing. This new Grasslands Anniversary beer will debut on Saturday, April 27 beginning at Noon in Hood River on the lawn just south of Ferment Brewing.
