Left Hand Brewing 2017 Fall Releases – Oktoberfest, Saison au Genièvre, Warrior IPA, and Wake Up Dead Nitro

In time for the change of season Left Hand Brewing from Longmont, Colorado has four seasonal beer releases hitting store shelves and tap handles. Be on the look out for Left Hand’s new Fresh Hop beer, Warrior IPA along with Oktoberfest, Saison au Genièvre, and Wake Up Dead Nitro.

Here are descriptions of each of the four beers provided by Left Hand Brewing.

Oktoberfest
Toasty malt flavors dominate up front and noble hops lead to a spicy and superbly clean lager finish on this traditionally brewed märzen lager. We start brewing Oktoberfest in the Spring and it takes a full two months to reach lagered perfection. It is brewed with a traditional step mash process and a decoction that caramelizes the beer for a perfect brew for fall. Seasonal Release: AUG – OCT

Study Abroad
Left Hand’s NEW Belgian-style single ale is full of big Belgian yeast characteristics. Study Abroad has a distinct spiciness with mild fruit esters at a sessionable 4.5% ABV. This seasonal has flavor notes of graham cracker, bubble gum, and white wine. Seasonal Release: AUG – OCT

Warrior IPA
Warrior is brewed with fresh, whole flower Cascade hops from the Western Slope of Colorado where high altitudes, hot days and cool mountain nights produce hops of great character. The hops are flown in fresh to our kettles within hours of being harvested. The result is an IPA with a strong malt foundation complemented by the bright floral hoppiness. Limited Release: SEP – OCT

Saison au Genièvre
Les Quatres Saisons, Left Hand’s quarterly Saison series released the third beer in the series with Saison au Genièvre. Brewed with native Colorado ingredients, each beer in the collection highlights a unique addition. Saison au Genièvre features juniper berries to bring a mild tartness to the dry and crisp farmhouse-style ale. Seasonal Release: AUG – OCT

Wake Up Dead Nitro
Following a hard pour and the beautiful cascade of bubbles, Wake Up Dead Nitro – Russian Imperial Stout, delivers a super smooth trifecta of cocoa, dried fruit and licorice notes. Limited Release: OCT – DEC
