When Friday the 13th arrives later this week, Rogue Ales & Spirits is set to debut its new West Coast Fresh Hop IPA at its pubs all across Oregon. This limited release West Coast-style IPA is said to showcase the vibrant flavors of Oregon’s hop harvest and the artistry of local coastal brewing. Rogue’s seasonal exclusive draft offers a fruity nose with a slight pine resin finish while being a well-balanced, drinkable, fresh-hop beer.

In brewing its West Coast Fresh Hop IPA, Rogue Ales’ brewers sourced and selected the freshest cones from Goschie Farms to ensure the most flavorful experience possible. West Coast Fresh Hop IPA sits at 6% ABV and 40 IBUs. This one will not be packaged and will be draft only on tap at Rogue Ales across Oregon in Portland, Newport, Astoria, and Jacksonville. West Coast Fresh Hop IPA will also make its way to select bars across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

“Our Fresh Hop IPA highlights Rogue’s commitment to quality and the brewing heritage of our state. Not many brewers can go into their backyard and pick the product directly for their batches to brew,” says Rogue Brewmaster Joel Shields. “The fresh hops in this IPA are a testament to the unparalleled natural flavor that only an Oregon hop can deliver.”

The direct connection between hop grower and brewer underscores the uniqueness of Oregon’s craft beer scene and the exceptional quality it’s known to deliver consistently. September typically kicks off the limited fresh hop season, and starting this Friday, September 13, patrons can taste the 2024 batch of freshly harvested hops handpicked by Rogue’s brewing team. Get yours before it’s gone!
