Sierra Nevada Releases Cosmic Little Thing Hazy Double IPA
|Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. continues to ride the Little Thing train as it expands its Limited Hazy Series with the new Cosmic Little Thing Hazy Double IPA. This marks the fourth limited-edition Hazy IPA in one of the brewery’s most popular beer series. The all new Cosmic Little Thing joins the lineup that included Tropical Little Thing, Dank Little Thing, and Juicy Little Thing.
Cosmic Little Thing is a Hazy Double IPA inspired by the prominent use of space-themed hops including Comet, Strata, and Helios that provide big flavors like citrus, berries and lychee. It clocks in at 8% ABV, an approachable 35 IBU and pours a bright, hazy golden color in the glass.
“As innovation brewers we’re always exploring different hop flavor combinations and looking for new ways to excite engaged beer fans, even when we’re working within existing beer styles,” says James Conery, Innovation Brewmaster at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico CA. “The Hazy IPA style is particularly exciting for craft beer fans right now, and it’s also exciting for us because there’s room for our creativity and exploration mindset to thrive. That comes through in the new beers we’re crafting, and Cosmic Little Thing is a great example of that.”
Hazy IPA fans can find Cosmic Little Thing on shelves starting in early March through mid-summer 2024 when the next beer in the ‘Limited Hazy Series’ by Sierra Nevada is set to be released. It will be available for a limited time nationally in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans at MSRP $12.99, while supplies last. Cosmic Little Thing will also be available year-round exclusively in single-serve 19.2-ounce cans at select convenience retailers. MSRP $3.19. To locate Cosmic Little Thing, visit sierranevada.com.
