With The Start Of Hops Season BridgePort Long Ball Ale Returns

We are only a week away from the return of professional baseball when the Back-to-Back Northwest League Champion Hillsboro Hops begin their short season Class A baseball for the Arizona Diamondback. The Hops begin its season on the road but return on Monday, June 20th for its home opener and a perfect time to grab a BridgePort Brewing Long Ball Ale as it makes its triumphant return for 2016.

Since its introduction a few years back, Long Ball Ale has been a fan favorite. The official beer of the Hillsboro Hops, Long Ball Ale is dry-hopped with Willamette Valley grown Meridian Hops and brewed with fresh glacial water from Mt. Hood. This past year Long Ball Ale impressed the judges at the 2015 European Beer Star Awards as it was awarded Gold in the English-Style Gold Ale/Summer Ale category.
Long Ball Ale is now available in 6-packs, exclusive to Oregon, on draft where BridgePort is sold, and at the Hillsboro Hops ballpark. Also be on the lookout for some fun activations at the ballpark this year, including:
- June 20: Brewing Demo
- June 28: “Dunk the Brewer” where donations will benefit the Hillsboro Hops Fund
- August 23: Craft Beer Night – Free beer tastings from various local breweries

Lets cheers on the Hops for what hopefully becomes another championship season!
