Explore Lincoln City Debuts its Tap and Brew Trail

Beer travel is back in Oregon and the latest region to offer an ale trail is the Lincoln City area along the Oregon Coast. Explore Lincoln City has just launched its Tap and Brew Trail that offers a self-guided adventure lets visitors explore Lincoln City’s vibrant brewing scene at their own pace.

Over the past few years, the beer scene in Lincoln City has drastically improved. Pelican Brewing opened its outpost in Siletz Bay, on Lincoln City’s south end a few years ago and most recently, Gilgamesh Brewing – The Coast, debuted in the city’s outlet mall last year.

Along the Tap and Brew Trail, beer travelers can hop from brewery to pub, sampling delicious IPAs, stouts, and everything in between. This trail isn’t just about the beer – along the way, travelers will encounter stunning views, like the breathtaking Siletz Bay from Pelican Brewing’s outdoor deck. Sunsets are better enjoyed while imbibing in a pint!

The Tap and Brew Trail offers something for everyone. Discover hidden gems like the oldest bar on the Oregon Coast, mingle with friendly locals at family-owned breweries and pubs, or savor handcrafted pizzas in a fun tiki atmosphere. One stop even boasts the most extensive selection of Oregon craft beers on draft in Lincoln City.

“We are so excited to share this new passport to guide visitors through the best breweries and pubs that Lincoln City has to offer,” said Kim Cooper Findling, director of Explore Lincoln City. “We hope that visitors find unique local flavors and experiences. You just might happen upon a new favorite spot.”

This free Tap and Brew Trail is the latest addition to Explore Lincoln City’s growing collection of digital adventure passports, including the Lincoln City Art Trail and Explorience Passports. The new digital passport allows users to check in with ease and gather points to redeem official Tap and Brew Trail swag, such as a hat or t-shirt. Designated drivers are welcome to check in at each location to redeem for prizes and can explore some of the cutting-edge nonalcoholic selections available at each stop. If you plan on tasting, please drink responsibly. Participants must be 21 or greater.
