Alameda Releases Fail Street Fresh Hop IPA

Alameda brewer Sean White informed us that the Northeast Portland brewpub will be releasing their Failing Street Fresh Hop IPA this Saturday, September 25th.  White says “We will be tapping the keg at 3PM, and Eric and I will be here until at least 5PM to hang out and enjoy a few pints with you.” He also adds “This beer was brewed a copious amount of fresh hops from (head brewer) Carston (Haney)’s front yard, and dry hopped with Palisades.  We used only Simpson’s Golden Promise malt from Scotland, and a touch of flaked oats, so the hops remain at the forefront of a clean honey-like malt profile.”  The vitals: 5.3% ABV, 65 IBU’s.
