Earth & Sky Farm's Holiday Bazaar

If you’re looking for something a bit outside of the box from your typical craft beer event consider making a trip to Oregon City over the next two weekends to visit Earth & Sky Farm for their inaugural Holiday Bazaar. This farm is operated by the husband and wife duo of Tim Ensign and Jana Daisy-Ensign. You may know Tim from Fort George Brewery and Jana represents the delicious ciders from Finnriver Farm & Cidery. Local Oregon City family farm, Earth & Sky Farm will be hosting an inaugural Holiday Bazaar this season over the next two weekends. Continuing an earnest effort to grow sustainable traditions, they are offering homegrown choose and cut Christmas trees, farmed without harmful chemicals ($25 any tree, any size). Those searching for a fresh, locally grown tree to spruce up their place can borrow a hand saw on site (or bring your own) and choose from a selection of Grand and Noble Firs.

This season, Earth & Sky Farm is expanding their tree cutting event into a full blown festive community celebration, featuring a small artisan bazaar showcasing the the work of local Portland area artists. Offerings will include nature crafted jewelry from The Object Studio, hand made ‘classic’ jewelry from Morgen Barrett Designs, unique crafts from local designer Flirting with Creativity, blacksmith metal work from Riveted Rabbit Studio, letterpress and more from Tiger Food Press and delicious culinary fare from Island Cowboy Catering and BBQ.

As if that wasn’t enough, farm owners and long time beer industry folk, Jana Daisy-Ensign and Tim Ensign bring their passion for craft beverages to the farm, offering pints of local craft beer from Fort George Brewery and glasses of artisan craft cider from Finnriver Farm & Cidery as well as growler fills and packaged product to go.
