Prospect Bottleshop & Bar Opens in Northeast Portland
Northeast Portland has added another new bottleshop and bar to the gentrifying area. Now open is Prospect Bottleshop & Bar, located in the newly renovated One-Stop Building next door to the popular Podnah’s Pit Barbecue.
Adam Hobbs is bringing his background from 1856, another bottleshop in NE Portland, to the corner of NE 16th and Killingsworth. Partnering with Laurent Albouze, a local entrepreneur, Prospect Bottleshop & Bar, offers a wide and eclectic selection of imported and local beers, wines, and ciders to drink on site without corkage fees. You’re welcome to take any of the selections home as well.
“We both also live in the neighborhood and wanted to create a place like Prospect for us to enjoy with our community,” said Hobbs.
Small bites will be offered along with the libations, while welcoming food from other locations. Pets are also welcome; bring your dogs in from the cold and into the bar. Prospect Bottleshop & Bar is open daily from 1:00pm to 10:00pm.
