Some of the earliest brewers were women and in that spirit of past is present, Oakshire has partnered with the Cascade Brewers Society to host a Teach a girl/woman/mom/daughter to brew day!  Five brewing stations will be set up with women at the helm discussing technique, best practice and why they choose to brew beer.  The event will be held at Oakshire on Saturday, March 5th from 10am-4pm.  Bring your note pad, a list a questions and your observation glasses.  For more details contact Eriel at the brewery – eriel@oakbrew.com or Nicole Jarvis with Cascade Brewers Society – nicoletj24@yahoo.com.  Minors are always welcome at the brewery so bring your favorite young friend for a fun science lesson.
