27th Annual Oregon Brewers Festival Brewery and Beer List Announcement
|Its not to early to begin thinking about Summer and the arrival of the Oregon Brewers Festival. The 27th edition of the OBF will take place during Oregon Craft Beer Month along Portland’s waterfront from July 23rd through 27th.
The 2014 Oregon Brewers Festival will feature 88 handcrafted beers from 85 breweries across North America, including two gluten-free offerings. And this year the festival will be offering another 40+ beers pouring in the Specialty Tent during the event. There are few new brewery’s attending OBF for the very first time, including one from Canada. A few of the breweries are not even currently brewing beer right now.

Prior to the opening of the Oregon Brewers Festival, the 8th annual Oregon Brewers Brunch & Parade will take place on Wednesday, July 23 from 9 to 11:30am at Lucky Labrador Brewing Co, SE Hawthorne location. Tickets will go on sale at 8am on May 1 (and usually sell out within a couple hours). The cost is $45 per ticket, which includes brunch, two beers, a T shirt, the official OBF tasting glass and four OBF tokens.

Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Portland, Oregon Main entrance at SW Oak Street and Naito Parkway; other entrances at SW Pine St, under the Morrison St Bridge and along the sea wall at Pine.

Weds through Sat, taps are open from Noon to 9 pm
Sun, taps are open from Noon to 7 pm
Token & glass sales close one-half hour prior to the taps shutting off: this is 8:30pm every night except 6:30pm on Sunday.
Admission
Admission into the festival grounds is free. In order to consume beer, purchase of a 2014 souvenir tasting glass is required and costs $7. No other vessel will be filled. Beer is purchased with wooden tokens, which cost $1 apiece. Patrons pay four tokens for a full glass of beer, or one token for a taste. The OBF glass/token sales booth is CASH ONLY and does not accept credit cards or checks. The festival does offer eight ATM machines on premise.
