By The Bottle Launches "Friday's Flight"
|Beginning this Friday, January 16th, downtown Vancouver’s By The Bottle will launch their weekly Friday’s Flight events. Every Friday in 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00pm the sample gates will be open at By The Bottle featuring rare, sought after beers.
By The Bottle’s Arlene Nunez states, “You can think of it as your official tasting room hours where deliciousness is always pouring. Your Tasting Room events will range anywhere from one single signature release to themed flights like a trip to Belgium, or a flight of spiced ales, Meet the Brewer and so on. As always, fun and games for free S.W.A.G. prizes will be included.”
This week’s featured beers at just $2 per each 2-ounce pour will include:
Deschutes Brewery-Bend, Oregon
The Dissident 2014 RESERVE
A distinctive Belgian-style Brown Ale and the signature Pacific Northwest Sour, 35% aged in French oak wine barrels and 65% ale brewed with cherries
Fremont Brewing-Seattle, Washington
2014 Limited Release Bourbon Barrel-aged Abominable Winter Ale
This year’s Bbomb is aged in 12 & 15 year old American oak whiskey barrels and is a blend of 24 and 12 month old Abominable Ale. This newest recipe features the
addition of coffee and cinnamon.

Tasting room hours at By The Bottle are every Friday from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Cash only for these special Friday Tasting sessions. The $2 tasting fee per sample goes toward the purchase of any of the featured beers.
