By The Bottle's Holiday Hump Day – Dessert & Beer Experience
|During the holiday season join By the Bottle in downtown Vancouver for Holiday Hump Day, a Dessert & Beer Experience. Beginning this Wednesday, and each Wednesday from now until Christmas, By the Bottle will be hosting something beery sweet.
Enjoy the innovative creations by Dessert Chef Jeanette with Kaleidoscope Catering who will be preparing your desserts table side. The dessert size is a normal size portion that you would expect from most restaurants, not sample sizes. Your Dessert & Beer Experience is only $10, cash only, please.
So if you plan on dining out during the holidays, save room for dessert and make it a Wednesday night! Let us know if you dined at Old Ivy Taproom, just across from By The Bottle, to receive your $5 By the Bottle Gift Certificate, redeemable anytime, but may not be applied to your Dessert Experience.

The Pumkanilla
Vanilla Ice Cream cascades over a Pumpkin Spiced Cake served with this year’s Alaskan Pumpkin Porter, brewed with Pumpkin, Brown Sugar, and Spices

S’more, please
High Water Brewing Campfire Stout evokes fond memories of camping adventures. Notes of graham crackers, chocolate, with a hint of marshmallow begs for a pairing with…you guessed it, S’mores! A S’more inspired dessert accompanies Campfire Stout and will have you asking for S’more, please. Let’s make a cozy circle of friends and share camping stories! (I gotta good one.)
Wednesday, December 11
BBB King
The three B’s are for Bacon, Bourbon, more Bourbon, and of course the King is the Imperial Stout. A Bacon Maple Cake serves as the ground floor for the Bourbon Ice Cream, and Vintage 2011 Deschutes The Abyss Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout won’t have you singin’ the blues.
Wednesday, December 18
Brewedcake
Ooopsy, that’s Fruitcake…maybe if they changed the name to Brewedcake it wouldn’t get such a bad wrap! I bet you are going to like it when it’s home made and paired with Vanilla Ice Cream, Candy Canes, and a vertical of the famous Anchor Christmas Ale brewed with Christmas spices and the intent of Joy and Celebration.
