Lardo Lager by Oakshire Brewing Release Party
|Having spent a majority of my life in the nation’s heartland, aka Illinois, there were a handful of local restaurants and taverns that would carry their own house named craft beer. Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. brewed many of these specially named house beers but some were brewed by nearby local craft brewers. Upon moving to the Pacific Northwest this trend was seldom seen except for the likes of some dive bars that may change up Natural Light to go with its bar’s name.
One exception here in the Pacific Northwest is that Oakshire Brewing has been brewing a house beer for Cornucopia and its multiple locations in Eugene with its Frog’s Wort Pale Ale. Now Oakshire is setting forth to do this again but with a lager for Portland’s Lardo and its three locations.
On Friday, February 20th, Portland’s Lardo will release its very own Lardo Lager brewed by Oakshire Brewing. To make this day even more special Lardo will be offering up this tasty, refreshing lager for only a “buck“!
This specially priced Lardo Lager will be available all day on February 20th at all three locations. Lets hope they don’t run out!
