Pelican Brewing Now Available in 6 Packs

Pelican Brewing Company is excited to announce the highly anticipated release of Pelican beer in 12 oz 6 packs! The two beers being released are Kiwanda Cream Ale and the GABF winning Silverspot IPA. Both of these new 6-packs from Pelican are now hitting store shelves in Oregon and Washington.

Kiwanda Cream Ale celebrates Cape Kiwanda, the starting point of the beautiful Three Capes Scenic Route along the Oregon Coast (along with Cape Lookout and Cape Meares). Cape Kiwanda can be viewed from your seat in our oceanfront Pub & Brewery in Pacific City and is popular for sand dune climbing, bird watching or just taking in the coastal views. Inspired by one of America’s traditional 19th century beer styles, Kiwanda Cream Ale has a floral hop aroma, sweet malt flavor and crisp finish. Kiwanda Cream Ale won a Bronze Medal at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival® and is the only beer to be named to Draft Magazines top 25 beers in the US 3 times.

Silverspot IPA is an English-Style IPA that celebrates the Oregon Silverspot butterfly which once flourished along the Oregon and Washington Coasts but due to habitat loss, this threatened butterfly is now found only in a handful of protected areas including nearby Mt. Hebo and Cascade Head.  A collaborative habitat restoration and reintroduction program is helping to increase this butterfly population. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer will help fund conservation efforts for the Oregon Silverspot Butterfly led by the Woodland Park Zoo. Silverspot IPA won a second consecutive Silver Medal at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival®.
