The Row at Tetherow Resort Features Sunriver Brewing Company in February
|February 3, 2016 – Bend, Oregon – The Row, Tetherow’s upscale Scottish-style pub, announces its partnership with local craft brewery, Sunriver Brewing Company, during the month of February. Delicious beer-infused eclectic menu items will be introduced weekly crafted exclusively to pair with the featured microbrews.
This weekend, Friday to Sunday (or until used up), The Row will serve five-dollar pints from a keg graciously donated by Sunriver Brewing. One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit the local Sparrow Club and Tetherow’s ‘adopted Sparrow’ at Bend’s Miller Elementary School.
“We are ecstatic for Tetherow to showcase some of our most recent beer creations as well as some of our award winning favorites,” said Ryan Duley, Director of Sales & Marketing at Sunriver Brewing Co. “The culinary team at Tetherow is extremely talented and we look forward to tasting what they can do with our brews,” added Duley.
The beer-infused menu and beer pairings for this week include (select items):
- Korean BeerBQ Pork Wings served with red pepper strips and parsley mint aioli. Pair with Fuzztail Hefe.
- Borracho Blackbean Flatbread Winter Ale infused black bean spread with feta, piquio peppers, jalapeno and blackened chicken. Pair with Vicious Mosquito IPA.

“It’s only natural for Tetherow to partner with local breweries to combine their craft with ours, and sourcing locally also aligns perfectly with our sustainability values,” says Chef Justin Birtola. “In the culinary process, we use any and all elements of the beer and turn it into some component of the featured dish – sauces, braises, reductions, salad dressings, and more,” adds Birtola.

About Sunriver Brewing Company
Sunriver Brewing Company’s pub in the Village at Sunriver opened to rave reviews in the summer of 2012. Since then, the brewery has expanded several times to brew over 6,000 barrels this spring. Talented head brewer, Brett Thomas, prides himself on making the highest quality beer. Since 2010, Brett has garnered 10 national awards including three silver and two bronze at the NABA and consecutive gold medals at the GABF.
