After years of bartenders blending Chocolate Stout and Hazelnut Brown Nectar together, John Maier of Rogue Ales & Spirits has brewed up a beer that combines both of these beers. The result is Rogue Hazelutely Choctabulous, a perfect blend of hazelnuts and chocolate.

“For over a decade, our hardest-core fans and loyal pub patrons have been drinking this blend, which they say tastes like a nutty chocolate candy bar,” states Rogue President Brett Joyce in a release. “We’re thrilled to share this secret menu item with the world.”

Hazelutely Choctabulous is described as dark and decadent, with a rich nutty flavor up front followed by a chocolate truffle finish. The beer sits at 5.7 % ABV and 51 IBUs.

Currently Hazelutely Choctabulous can be found in local taprooms but will see its full release nationally in 22-ounce serigraphed bottles and on draft starting in January 2017. To locate your favorite Rogue beer use Rogue’s own Beer Finder tool.
