Handmade Bike & Beer Festival Brings Bikes and Beer Together
|The popular Portland pastimes of bicycling and beer are once again brought together with the Handmade Bike & Beer Festival. Hosted by the Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association and the Oregon Brewers Guild, the 2016 event will take place on Friday, October 7th from 5:00 to 9:00pm and Saturday, October 8th from 10:00am to 8:00pm. This year’s event moves locations from Hopworks Urban Brewery to The North Warehouse in North Portland.
The 2016 Handmade Bike & Beer Festival will highlight over 20 renowned bike frame and parts builders showing its wares next to five Portland and one Eugene Brewery. The breweries include Baerlic Brewing Co., Base Camp Brewing Co., Hopworks Urban Brewery, Pyramid Brewing Co. and Widmer Brothers Brewing all pouring four beers each. A sixth beer sponsor, Falling Sky Brewing from Eugene, will serve two beers. Food will be available for purchase from Urban German and Booda Bowls.

Advance tickets cost $10.00 for entry to the bike festival and $20.00 for entry to the bike show, a tasting glass and 10 drink tickets. Advance tickets are available online by clicking here.
Attendees are encouraged to ride their bike to the event, with complimentary outside bike parking, or take public transportation; the TriMet Bus Line 35 stops one block away and the Yellow Max Line stops two and three blocks away. Parking is available on the street between Broadway and N. Graham St.
