STEELPORT Knife Co. Presents the 2025 Portland Sourdough Showcase
One thing that came from the pandemic has been the proliferation of baking your own sourdough bread at home. And speaking of sourdough, there’s a day for that as National Sourdough Day is celebrated on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Local high end knife maker, STEELPORT Knife Co. will host the 2025 Portland Sourdough Showcase on April Fools Day from 4:00pm – 6:00pm inside its factory in Northeast Portland. Yes, no fooling!
This event is open to the public to come enjoy samples, shopping, a factory tour, and the launch of STEELPORT’s new Bench Scraper and Baker Set with some of Portland’s best bakers and makers, including:
- Cafe Olli
- Little T Baker
- Flour Market
- Fairbanks Bread
- La Provence
- Bauman’s on Oak (sampling cider and sourdough!)
- Westward Whiskey
- Ken’s Artisan Pizza
