Bailey’s Taproom Celebrates Its 11th Anniversary on July 28th
For the past three years Bailey’s Taproom has been celebrating its anniversary a few days early to coincide with the annual Oregon Brewers Festival. This year is no different, as the downtown beer bar will host its 11th Anniversary Party + Barrel-Aged Beer Fest on Saturday, July 28th from Noon-11:00pm.
Bailey’s Taproom opened its doors on August 1, 2007 and since this time now almost 11 years ago has gone on to become one of the top beer destinations in Portland. Always one of the top go to spots for locals and travelers Bailey’s Taproom ranks is always a must stop when in downtown Portland.
For its 11th Anniversary Bailey’s Taproom will reel in its festivities a bit but will allow free flowing access between it and its sister bar upstairs, The Upper Lip. This will allow for two stories of access to its annual barrel-aged beer bonanza.
The only beer that we have been privy to that will be pouring at the anniversary is a special beer from Seattle’s Reuben’s Brews with special blend made just for Bailey’s. Reuben’s masterfully blended a Red Wine Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Belgian Strong Dark on cherries to create Bailey’s Taproom 11th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Ale.
As with events at Bailey’s Taproom, its 11th Anniversary Party + Barrel-Aged Beer Fest will have no cover charge and its team will put together an incredible tap list. Stay up to date on all of the festivities by following its Facebook Event Page.
Cheers to 11 Years!
