PDX Book Club Presents: BEer Healthy Month
|PDX Book Club, a very scholarly and professional group of women who work for beer distributors, bars, and suppliers, are teaming during Oregon Craft Beer Month (OCBM). Its mission during OCBM is to provide free group workouts, health seminars along with additional opportunities to enjoy beer and cider.
All classes are open to both men and women and are family friendly (depending on venue). Here’s a rundown on the events that kick off on Saturday, July 8th a run through Monday, July 31st.
Eat This, Not That!: Drink Your Calories Paulaner USA
Sat, July 8th 1:00-3:00pm – The Abbey Bar & Bottle Shop
Come have healthy snacks and beers and learn from a Nutritionist about how to eat healthy while on the road. Suggested one canned/non-perishable food donation which will be donated to Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division

Meet at Velo Cult at 1pm to join New Belgium Brewing bike through NE Portland and have some beers along the way. It’s all about a balanced lifestyle.
B-double-E-double-R-U-N with Sierra Nevada
Mon July 31st 6pm-9pm at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) & Home, A Bar
Meet at 6pm for a bridge run followed by beers with Sierra Nevada. Start on the East Side of Hawthorne Bridge, cross to the West Side and back again ending at Home, A Bar. This run will be approximately 3 miles.
