Pabst Blue Ribbon’s Project Pabst Returns to Portland in July 2024
|It is official, the magical Pabst Blue Ribbon unicorn will return to Portland, Oregon once again! Last held seven years ago, Project Pabst will return in July 2024 for a two-day music festival along Portland’s waterfront.
During its original four year run, from 2014 – 2017, Project Pabst took place along the Willamette River. The first two years at Zidell Yards and the final two years at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Come this summer, it’ll be three years at Tom McCall Waterfront Park when Project Pabst returns to Portland on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
Project Pabst is a two-day, two-stage celebration of live music, beer, and the local culture of the Pacific Northwest. Organizers bring to the table a diverse lineup of music and culture. This goes beyond music as Pabst Blue Ribbon will once again showcase installations by visual artists, as well as unique vendors and local food options.
For the revived festival in July, Project Pabst has put together a killer lineup of music that bounces around from all sorts of music genres. Headliners include punk legend Billy Idol, hip-hop trailblazer T-Pain, and alternative heavyweights both new and old with Big Thief and Violent Femmes. Other notable acts on the bill include Manchester Orchestra, Denzel Curry, STRFKR, Shannon & The Clams, Soccer Mommy and many more.
“Ten years ago, the team threw the first Project Pabst in Portland, and this year we have the opportunity to bring it back to the city where it all started,” stated Rachel Keeton, PBR Brand Director. “We set out to create a festival that PBR fans would love, and I’m really proud of how this lineup delivers.”
Tickets for Project Pabst will go on sale on Friday, March 8 at 10:00am PST at the link here. However, use code UNICORN to get in on the Early Bird Passes. A two-day pass is $195 or daily passes are $99. Project Pabst is a 21+ event.
