Cascade Brewing Releases Vitis Noble Today
As of late, Cascade Brewing has been keeping busy each Tuesday releasing new beers each week. This week is no exception as the “House of Sour” will release Vitis Noble today in both 750ml bottle and on draught. Vitis Noble will be available at Cascade Brewing Barrel House and the Raccoon Lodge and Brew Pub along with its normal distribution channels.
Taking its name from Noble Vine, Vitis Noble is described as being a cousin to Cascade’s The Vine Project. Vitis Noble features sour wheat and blond ales aged in oaks barrels for up to 16 months with Willamette Valley grown chardonnay grapes, one of the most celebrated noble varietals.
This Northwest sour ale captures the vibrancy of chardonnay complemented by a kiss of French oak and notes of melon, apple and tropical fruit. Chardonnay grapes complement an oaky characteristic from additional oak staves in the barrels. The end product is a wonderful balance between the beautiful flavors of the Northwest grown chardonnay grapes, oak tendencies and a bright clean finish. – Cascade Brewing
