Out in Hood River, Oregon, Full Sail Brewing, the city’s oldest brewery, is getting in on the fresh hop beer action with the release of two new Fresh Hop IPAs. Both Hops & Pines Fresh Hop IPA and Rye oh Rye Fresh Hop IPA are now available on draft at the pub in scenic downtown Hood River.

Hops & Pines Fresh Hop IPA is perfect for any IPA fan. It’s brewed with local, freshly harvested Salmon-Safe Chinook hops just hours off the vine from Sodbuster Farms along with additions of Amarillo hops and spruce tips. Theses hops are balanced by a malt bill of 2 Row Pale and C40. This small batch beer presents big notes of the forest we love in the Pacific Northwest. Heavy layers of pine, supported by subtle notes of floral lemons and bright stone fruits. It sits at 7% ABV 7% ABV and 55 IBUs.

Rye oh Rye Fresh Hop IPA is brewed with local, freshly harvested Salmon-Safe Mosaic hops just hours off the vine from Sodbuster Farms along with dose of Simcoe hops and Pilsner, Rye Flakes, and Munich Malt. This small batch beer has moderate notes of spicy white pine softened by notes of vanilla, woody, baked blueberries and dark stone fruits. It sits at 6.5% ABV and 60 IBUs.

Both beers are on tap at the Full Sail Brewing Pub in downtown Hood River open daily 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will also be featured at a few upcoming events.
