A new year-round beer is coming our way from Pelican Brewing Company. The Oregon Coastal brewery has added Pelican West Coast IPA to its lineup. This new IPA makes its debut in 6-pack, 12 ounce cans and can be found at all of Pelican’s pubs along the Oregon Coast and in retailers across the brewery’s distribution footprint.

Pelican West Coast IPA is brewed with Pilsen Malt and is hopped with Magnum, Galaxy, Centennial Cryo, and Ekuanot Cryo hops. It boasts a 7.4% ABV and 55 IBUs to offer notes of sweet citrus and pink grapefruit that’s complemented by a hint of subtle lime zest. This beer delivers a refreshing, balanced profile with a crisp clean finish that Pelican beers are known for.

“Pelican West Coast IPA highlights the fantastic flavors of Centennial and Ekuanot hops, grown right here in the Pacific Northwest,” explains Pelican Brewmaster Darron Welch, in a statement. “Evolving from more than 25 years of experience producing American IPAs, our new ‘Westy’ emphasizes an inviting hop aroma, crisp refreshing flavors and a clean snappy finish.”
