Pizza Port Night @ Apex Bar
On of the most exciting beer events so far this year was Pizza Port night at Apex Bar in Portland. Many beer enthusiasts in attendance were treated to ten taps of rare and limited brews from the San Diego region brewery who won top GABF honors in 2010 for best large and small brewpub of the year. Further, Jeff Bagby, Pizza Port’s brewmaster won the prestigious Alpha King challenge for his hoppilicious Poor Man Double IPA. For a list of all the beers that poured at Apex this past Wednesday, read our previous post here. There’s also a more in depth interview with Bagby from this event here on Behind the Pint/The New School Blog.
